This weekend, our NSBE chapter attend the 38th Annual NSBE Convention in Pittsburgh, PA and won the National Medium-Sized Chapter of the Year, Highest % of APEx* members in our society, two BCA Scholarships (Jason Lee and Neel Shah) and TORCH member of the year!!
*members with a GPA above 3.0
Last Thursday was the first Fall General Body Meeting for BESS (Black Engineering Student Society) and it was great! The membership truly made my first official meeting as President, one to remember. Some alumni members came out to support and it was nice to be in a room of those who made it!
We played a fun game called Networking in Action where members were asked to find other members who could relate to facts and complete a sheet in an effort to win a NSBE t-shirt.
I’m excited for the year ahead!
